Poster session instructions:

Poster presentation provides a unique opportunity to have an effective one-to-one communication that is not possible during an oral presentation.  

It is recommended that for having a successful presentation you should comply with the following recommendations:

 

  1. The poster must be written in English.
  2. The recommend size is 90 x 120 cm (about 3X4 feet).
  3. Put your poster up at least 1/2 hour prior to the start of the poster session.
  4. Be sure to localize the board that will have the code assigned for your poster.
  5. Your poster must correspond to the title and content of the abstract you submitted.
  6. Plan your poster to be in logical sequence, i.e. introduction, study design and methods, data collected, conclusion.
  7. Posters should be designed for clear viewing from a distance of beyond 1 meter so that they can be viewed by a number of people at the same time.
  8. To ensure visual effectiveness of your poster, use large lettering and a minimum of text.
  9. Use of color can visually enhance your poster.
  10. Remove your poster immediately at the close of the poster session.
