This year the SMCTSM Conference will have a section dedicated to provide an overview of present achievements and expected future trends in Electron Spectroscopy. It will include instrumentation, and methodology, and applications, particularly in Materials Science. The symposium will cover various spectroscopies such as AES, EELS, EPES, XPS, and experiments involving synchrotron. Papers containing significant characterization with any of these techniques are also invited to this symposium.
The goal of this Electron Spectroscopy Symposium is to bring scientists together to discuss the progress and recent advances in the different electron spectroscopies. The program will consist of several plenary lectures, regular oral and poster presentations.
Speakers Invited:
Dr. John Grant (University of Dayton, USA)
Dr. Mario Farías (UNAM-CNyN, México)
